Oyster-Smoked Salmon Vodka Shooter
Smoky vodka and oysters bring to mind evenings of campfire oyster feasts; it’s a naturally delicious flavor combination. You can make shooters with straight Smoked Salmon Vodka. The flavor is better balanced, however, if shooters are made with half shots of Smoked Salmon Vodka and half shots of plain vodka. By reducing the vodka’s smokiness by half, the oyster’s lovely brininess shines through. Shooters are best made with ice cold vodka straight from the freezer.
1 lemon wedge
1 raw oyster
1 dash Tabasco
1/2 shot Smoked Salmon Vodka
1/2 shot plain vodka
Put lemon wedge in glass. Top with raw oyster. Top with dash of Tabasco. Top with 1/2 shot of Smoked Salmon Vodka and then with 1/2 shot of plain vodka. Serve.
